SURFBIO project was part of the European Researchers’ Night

SURFBIO project was part of the European Researchers’ Night through a workshop gave by ICCRAM-University of Burgos last Friday. It was aimed at pre-school and primary school students and 24 kids took part in the activities.

The UBU team participating in SURFBIO showed children the properties of soils and made experiments to see the cells of different living beings.

Also, they were able to isolate DNA from fruits and to discover our carbon footprint, among other activities within the framework of “Understanding our enviorment”.
